Dynamic Damping Gas Springs


          

Description

Unlike the standard gas spring's damping control mode, the dynamic damping gas spring's damping speed is controlled by a special longitudinal groove inside the pressure tube. The damping effect is obtained from this groove, and the groove behaves just like the hole on the piston of the standard gas spring. By increasing or reducing the groove cross section, the speed of motion over the entire stroke can be adjusted as desired.

In comparison with standard gas springs, dynamic damping gas springs have many advantages, such as good damping effect, less affected by low temperature, etc. And the most obvious advantage is that braking can be achieved without the piston rod pointing downwards.
